These terms are a development-stage template for OnStudy. They should be reviewed before a commercial or large-scale public release.

1. The service

OnStudy provides tools for organizing study materials, reading supported documents, creating quizzes and flashcards, tracking study activity, and optionally connecting third-party services such as Google Drive and an AI provider.

2. Your content

You remain responsible for the documents, notes, quiz content, flashcards and other materials you import, create, synchronize or share through OnStudy. You must have the rights necessary to use and share that content.

3. Third-party services

Some OnStudy features depend on third-party services, including Google Drive and optional AI or email services. Their availability and use may also be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.

4. AI-generated material

AI-generated quizzes, flashcards, explanations and summaries can contain mistakes. Users should verify important academic or factual information against the original study material.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use OnStudy to access, upload, distribute or share content unlawfully, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or misuse connected third-party services.

6. Availability

Development and testing versions of OnStudy may change, contain bugs, or have features that are unavailable or incomplete. No guarantee is made that every feature will always be available.

7. Account and access responsibility

You are responsible for the security of the accounts you connect to OnStudy and for reviewing the permissions you grant to connected services.

8. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as OnStudy evolves. Updated terms will be published on this page.
